Ramayan Actor Sunil Lahri Expresses Confidence: "I am sure my accommodation issue will be resolved before the ceremony"

Ramayan actor Sunil Lahri shares his excitement about reuniting with his Ramayan co-stars for a special song and his plans to attend the consecration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Despite facing accommodation issues, Lahri is optimistic that the matter will be resolved before the ceremony.

Lahri, known for his role as Lakshman in Ramanand Sagar’s TV show Ramayana, along with Arun Govil (Lord Ram) and Dipika Chikhlia (Sita), has been invited to the inauguration ceremony of the Ram Mandir. While expressing disappointment about not securing accommodation due to fully booked hotels, Lahri remains confident that the issue will be sorted out.

Currently in Mumbai, Lahri plans to head back to Ayodhya in the coming days. He states, “I am hoping that by then the issue of accommodation will be solved. It has not happened yet, but I am confident that it will get solved. I am looking forward to the celebration. There is no doubt about me not attending it.”

Lahri acknowledges the accommodation challenge faced by many, including Arun Govil, and assures that efforts are being made by officials to assist them. He believes that the situation will be resolved before the event.

Recently, Lahri, Govil, and Chikhlia came together in Ayodhya to shoot a song titled "Humare Ram Aye Hai." This project marks their first collaboration in 35 years since the iconic TV show. Lahri describes the experience as wonderful and nostalgic, emphasizing the significance of the inauguration ceremony as a proud moment for all Indians.

Reflecting on the vibrant atmosphere in Ayodhya, Lahri notes, “It was a great feeling to experience that fervour and merriment in the air. The atmosphere is just beautiful. Everyone is looking forward to it like we look forward to Diwali. It is so special and a moment to cherish.”
